G100 is a global organisation with powerful advocacy for a gender equal future.
With a rapidly growing network of 250,000 women in 150 countries in 100 different sectors, G100 is rapidly reaching their mission of a million members across all borders.
We hold focus meetings, workshops and events across the world in a collaborative ecosystem of women, to advance industry skills, positive energy, economic capacity and leadership potential.
UK CHAIR OF G100 MEDIA, ARTS AND COMMUNICATION
Founder of The Vlog Academy and Creator of Eye Storm
It is with enormous pride and great excitement that we launch the G100 Media Arts & Communication wing in the UK.
Our mission is to actively promote women and provide thought leadership on how to safely achieve economic and social parity within the Media, Art and Communications sector in the UK.
The G100 has established meetings with the UN, the EU and IGOs.
THE G100 MEDIA ARTS AND COMMUNICATION WING
As representatives of this vibrant, innovative and forward-thinking sector, we want to infuse the G100 MAC UK wing with our spirit and create change from the inside.
Although the Media, Arts and Communications sector is one of the most progressive and liberal industries, we still suffer from heavy bias, bullying, sexist misconducts, and a major under-representation of women in significant roles.
In our sector, which is currently estimated at a £100 billion annual output and one of the largest parts of the total UK economy, we have an enormous duty of care for women.
As gatekeepers of information and broadcasters of news; as producers, journalists, researchers, authors, scriptwriters, PR managers, we need to stand up for and promote equality on all fronts.
OUR AIM IS TO IDENTIFY, INFORM AND INSPIRE
• Identify our gender equality challenges from the inside
• Create constructive advice and support
• Inform and inspire to take action
With the power of our knowledge, creativity and productivity, we want to establish UK G100 MAC as a main participant in the gender equality conversation.
As women emerge from behind the scenes to take on an equal part of decision making in our society, we step forward as compassionate, purposeful and resilient leaders.
It’s by acknowledging this as our forte that we can create long-term, positive, change.
We welcome anyone to join the G100 MAC, who identifies as a woman, and gender non-conforming persons who are passionate about female empowerment.
We also work closely with our male counterpart, the Denim Club.
