ON A MISSION TO GIVE WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD A STRONGER VOICE

If you think about the human race as a bird with two wings,
you understand that if one wing is damaged or broken, no one can fly.
Let’s ensure the human race can fly. – Gloria Steinem

Woman-led Community Award | Digital Women Awards 2022
On Friday the 14th October 2022, Mi Elfverson, Creator of EyeStorm, received the ‘Best Women-Led Community Award’ by Digital Women in London.
Digital Women is a community of 80,000 women in the UK, led by Lucy Hall.
Mi is also the founder of The Vlog Academy and UK Chair of G100 Media, Arts & Communication and Associate Editor of the online magazine ‘G-Magazine’.
Mi works predominantly with women in business to encourage them to step forward, share their passion and expertise to establish themselves as experts in their field.
Eye Storm is the community group with workshops, meet-ups, blogs and other soul nurturing events.
Mi runs an online accountability programme for women, called Rise&Shine, where she supports women to get more confident both in front and behind the camera, to understand how to share more relevant and engaging content, to step forward in their own power to grow their audience and to thrive.
UN Women UK delegate
I’m enormously proud to have joined a team of UK delegates to participate in the huge CSW67 conference, held in New York but accessible online globally.
So what is CSW67…?
CSW67 stands for The UN Commission on the Status of Women and forms the largest gender equality conference in the world, dedicated to shaping global standards on gender equality and the empowerment of women.
CSW was stablished in 1946, and has since been promoting women’s rights and documenting the reality of women’s lives throughout the world.
Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are invited to contribute to the sessions.
